Summary: A nicely-kept vacation home with ample space for 4 guests. Clean and well-situated— close to our excursions to Aix and the coast with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Good communication from the host and easy check-in and out. As travellers from North America, we aren’t quite used to bringing certain supplies to vacation homes such as toilet paper, detergents, garbage bags, etc. but there were good basic kitchen items such as oil, vinegar, sugar, spices, which were most appreciated. We would have loved to have seen the Grotto of Mary Magdalene, not far, but there was not enough time. A delightful stay all in all. Thank you very much.

Summary: The house is very nice and located close to town center. In the morning , we can walk to get fresh bread. Nice pool with great view , and warm jacuzzi is a plus. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Summary: This property is located in a small town in rural France. The landscape there is beautiful. The house is artistically decorated and quite comfortable. There were still beautiful white roses blooming next to the patio in October. We enjoyed the hot tub after hours of hiking. The proprietors were very friendly and responsive to our needs. They provided a lot of information on activities in the area. One recommendation for them is to provide towels for use in the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Summary: Superb clean and well equipped house in semi rural location. Excellent air conditioning and jacuzzi and pool to keep us cool. Location is in a quiet village with small shop and excellent boulangerie. Hire car was vital to explore the surrounding area. Numerous books and tourist pamphlets in the house for reference and inspiration! Owners closeby for assistance if required but unobtrusive... house feels private and secure. We visited rural villages,saw the lavender fields and explored the coast from st tropez to Marseille....we went to zoo barben also... fantastic base with very helpful and friendly hosts..thank you!

Summary: Had a most enjoyable week in Nans les Plans. Quiet village with all facilities within walking distance. Easy access to lots of attractions - Aix with it's historical centre and Cezanne connections, Marseilles , Cassis and the lavender fields of Provence. Villa very well equipped and owners on hand to meet and advise on any additional needs. Great backdrop of the hills beyond the village. Would have preferred to be told that the pool is not in a private setting

Summary: Lovely property with friendly and welcoming owners. We had a lovely time exploring the local area. We enjoyed visiting the bakery every morning for fresh bread and croissants. The market on Sunday morning was great, don’t miss it! Lots to do and some lovely walks from the house. We really loved the house, it had everything we could have wished for including a nice pool and jacuzzi. Thank you Anne-Marie 😁

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Nans-les-Pins, even if we were a little unlucky with the weather for most of our stay in early May. The house itself is very well appointed, with everything a family of four with two young children could with for. The large pool was too cold due to the weather, but the hot tub was a big hit with the kids (1 and 4). The larger area seems to have very different weather conditions, so keep an eye out for day-trips towards the coast if the weather isn't great: Cassis and Bandol have nice sandy beaches and even with rain in Nans-les-Pins, we got some great weather and fun there. The town of Nans-les-Pins is well equipped, with a handful of pizzerias and simple restaurants, a couple of bakeries within easy access for a morning stroll. The superette in town caters for some forgotten groceries, and the nearby towns have larger super and even hypermarkets. We hit the humongous Auchan hypermarché in Aubagne, about 30 mins away, about twice a week. So in short: do not hesitate to stay/book. A warm welcome and a great place await!

Summary: We Australians spent two weeks at this idyllic spot during August 2016, together with our two grandchildren (aged 2 and 4 years) and their parents from the UK. The house was modern, clean, roomy and comfortable, fitted out with everything we six needed. Our hosts were nearby and their assistance was generous and gracious. We felt at home in a foreign land. We left our busy lives, and soaked up the peace and tranquillity of this sprawling property. The crystal blue pool was for our exclusive use, large and clean, so refreshing in the summer heat. We used it everyday. From there we looked directly onto the magnificent Sainte Baume mountains. The skies were blue, the temperatures perfect at around 30 degrees. An air conditioner was at our disposal. We enjoyed balmy evenings with easy barbecue meals outdoors, savouring the French wines. We visited the cave shrine of Mary Magdalene in the Sainte Baume mountains, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. We drove to the beautiful Mediterranean cities of Cassis and Marseille, each only a 45 minute drive away. We strolled many times to the small Centre Ville of Nans Les Pins, to eat at the local restaurants, or to buy groceries and sample the delicious freshly baked pastries and bread from the local patisserie. We really experienced the authentic life of a small French village, away from tourist crowds of bigger cities. This holiday was everything we wanted and needed. Many thanks to Anne Marie and Michel for your hospitality (and the delicious home grown tomatoes and peppers). We will always remember this special time with fondness.
